After being busy for six months, we were able to breathe have a break and go on holiday. I felt lucky to participate in this group travel. I also took my wife to relive the memories of the honeymoon in Kenting four years ago. I appreciate that the PSI arrange the trip to southern Taiwan for three days and two nights. The employees can participate in the tour and put aside the work. They can enjoy the sun, beaches, blue ocean, and smiles.

On the early morning of the first day, we were received to the bus by the tour guide nicknamed “Chicken”. Because it took about four hours to arrive in Kaoshiung, where we dined later, in the bus everyone played bingo. And the enthusiastic participation of many families let the feelings of strangeness ease a bit too.

Finally we arrived in Kaohsiung at noon. After enjoying the Meinung Hakka style meal, we headed for The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. This was one of the stops for my honeymoon travel four years ago. My wife and I even stayed overnight in the undersea tunnel at the museum!! @ Note 1. Although we had only one afternoon for the visit, with the cheerful penguins, beautiful fishes, we all got some knowledge of marine biology and laughers.

In the first night, we stayed in the Howard Hotel and enjoyed the delicious buffet for dinner. After dinner we went to Kenting Street (night market) with my wife for shopping and strolling along. Thinking of Kenting, the first place I remember is Nanwan. The clear, azure blue sea with the white beach 600 meters attracts most people in Kenting. Needless to say, there are many water sports. When the summer comes, you can see many sunshades, watercrafts and banana boats speeding in Nanwan.

After our seafood lunch in Pingdong Dong Kang, we went to an island called “Lamay Island (Xiǎo Liúqiú).” The Lamay Island is located to the east of Pingdong County. We did some water sports at the “clam board bay.”. In that beautiful evening on the Lamay Island, we also enjoyed the BBQ and beer at dinner time with the PSI colleagues.

I liked the sea breezes touching my face. I enjoyed looking at the waves and walking with my wife along the beach hand in hand.

This beautiful trip is really memorable. We had a lot of fun there.

It was difficult to explain via words what we gained from this journey. Thus the best way for you to understand is to learn from the firsthand experience. Then you will know what I felt. To fill the following decades of life time with colorful and wonderful experience, traveling “overseas” is a significant task. Finally I want to thank PSI for organizing this nice trip for us.
