Pronology Services Inc. is a professional EMS factory. Our major service is the full system process or PCBA OEM for some small business. Our management for the company’s factory storage service depends on the customers’ working order and material status. Because of the annual sales growth of PSI, in order to have a better service to our customers with a good company management, PSI headquarter restructures our factory in April, which covers about 2640 square meters. (See Pic. 1) We also label each section in the with English letters. The materials are mainly stored on stack boards. Small or high priced materials are stored on racks. (See Pic. 2)

Customers’ reserved parts are stored and managed together in the warehouse. Materials for regular production are stored in the areas where the warehouse keeper usually works in order to enhance efficiency of management. For high mix and low volume business mode, products always follow end customers’ demand mainly (See Pic. 3), and therefore the change of material is expected. Along with the change of products, the warehouse space also needs regular adjustment. For system material, it occupies bigger space and needs to be transported to production line once it arrives the warehouse. The warehouse has a turning space (See Pic. 4). Up to 20 stack boards can be stored in this space. It provides available room in the warehouse to store temporarily all materials coming in a week, and it solves the limited space and poor management problem.

5S – Tidiness, Orderliness, Cleanliness, Clean-up, Discipline. To do the storage management and clean up every week, FIFO spot check, Unit exception review and objective review, monthly inventory checking, make sure warehouse staff clearly understand the objectives and exactly implementing. Our advantages are to provide best service, and warehouse targets to meet the production requirements. The goal we need to achieve is to do our job correctly and sufficiently.
