After the foundation of staff multi-function entertainment hall, the staff has got some entertainment after work. They can play table tennis, snooker and enjoy themselves to the utmost. More often than not, when they feel tired, they would like to have some snacks and sports drinks. Finally because of our suggestion and Gilbert’s approval, PSI-CN welfare association takes charge of the opening a convenience store inside the company.

The welfare association had been working on the project since August and it took more than one month. During this period Mark and other members arranged the store including purchasing large refrigerators, contacting the food supplier, setting the cashier computer and the standard cashier system. Under our effort, the store opened soon on September 12.

On the day of opening, I, the president of the welfare association, was thinking of creating a store within our company for our staff as we never had it before. I took it as one of the most important thing within my duty, a job I should do perfectly, and I should bring convenience to our staff. I was really excited about it, about the opening ceremony.

At 10:00 am, a good time for opening, the ceremony began. Gilbert and the whole welfare association members attended the ceremony and celebrated the opening.

It has been 2 months since the opening of the store. Now it is running well and brings us convenience and benefit.
