At the request of the national security office, our factory arranges fire drill and fire control knowledge workshops twice a year. Our company held the second fire drill and the training activity in December this year. The fire prevention supervisor explained the main points of the fire drill and training activities to us. The number of people was so large that we should understand the importance of the drill and activities.

First of all, the director of security explained to the staff many kinds of the fire causes such as old electrical wires repeatedly turning on and off, electricity overloading and so on. In addition, the improper ways of using fire may also cause fire disasters.Those accidents warned us to keep the disasters away from us, and reminded us to study the knowledge of the fire fighting and have the ability to escape from the fire.

Then he told that we must keep calm at once, make the right judgment quickly, and try to use the fire extinguishing equipment. At the beginning of the fire, we may be able to put out the fire easily and successfully. According to the nature of fire, we usually use the fire extinguisher. Fire extinguishers are made of dry powders, and can cope with the fire of class A, B, and C fires.

If you find that you are unable to extinguish the fire, you must report as soon as possible, and ask the firefighters for help. Meanwhile, you must try to escape from the fire scene as soon as possible to ensure personal safety.

Then some staff performed how to use the dry powder fire extinguisher：The dry powder fire extinguisher must be shook at first, in order to make the internal dry powder with a high pressure .We should run toward the downwind direction of the fire, pull out the fire extinguisher latch, aim the fire extinguisher nozzle at flame root, and press the handle. Dry powder can usually achieve the desired effect.

Next the director told us how to use the fire hydrant pump. Two men ran to the fire hydrant outside, took the fire hydrant out of the small door, and rolled out the fire pipeline. A man ran to fix the fire tube jet nozzle aside, while the other man received fire hydrant outlet, and spurted the water toward the sky. The fire hydrant spurted water into the air about 50 meters high.

Finally, he explained how to help the wounded people through the ways such as artificial respiration, pinching the specific points, etc.

After two hours, the fire training course was over, and the arrangement was really perfect.
