PSI is an EMS provider and specializes in low to middle volume and high mix production. A Sales Order Automation System has been made to manage customers’ orders effectively and to improve process efficiency.

This system can import order information and export all production related data by the appointed columns. It could reduce process time, avoid man-made errors, help sales representatives remind customers to provide necessary information at first place, and synchronize all databases to ensure that each BU have the access to all updated production data needed.

With Sales Order Automation System, it will also improve semi-product shortage simulation. Based on shortage concept, the system will verify if PCBA have excess or underproduction issue, and modify production quantity to ensure effective application in PCBA mix production.

The Order Management Automation has been implemented, and PSI plans to implement New Order and Material Shortage Simulation in March. It is expected that process efficiency and accuracy could be highly enhanced.
