SMT Wrong Parts Prevention System

Wrong parts prevention system can avoid installing wrong parts on boards. Changing components frequently is the current mainstream when we are producing. We use this system to maintain production quality and reduce the stopping time. It is more important to upgrades the production efficiency.
There are three kinds of main functions regarding to this system. One is to reduce the times to install wrong pats on boards. Anotherone is to records the date codes of PCBs and components. The last is to track the production status and monitor the SMT production process.
We describe the wrong parts prevention systemin two aspects. One is its characteristics and the other is its function.
Characteristics:
To avoid using wrong parts.
To reduce the operation mistakes when changing components
To strengthen the verification of each SMT stations.
To strengthen the control of production.
It helps IQC to do inspection easier because there are much information from this system.
If our customers need the inspection reports, we are able to generate this report automatically from this system.
Everyone has an authorized access to different degree.
Function:
--The input and output of the working orders and BOMs. The production documents are imported into our ERP system. Our ERP system generates the working orders regarding to all productions. It is important that we research all production documents depend on the working orders. We separate these production documents depend on departments . Then, we separate components every department needs. Therefore, wrong parts prevention system needs the support of production documents of working orders.
--The SMT parts stations are established. ERP system have imported all production documents. We need to be sure to use the correct parts so we have to input BOMs before production. It helps us to compare the SMT parts list of each SMT stations with BOMs. Every parts station includes the following information.
The machine connects all pats stations and each stations links to a kind of component.
a. The SMT programming name
b. The station number
c. PSI part number
d. Manufacturer part number
e. Component specification
f. Component location
Operation to prepare SMT parts:
We use the working orders from the system for production.
At this moment, our system is able to integrate all information , including component lists of each parts station and the specification of every components.
Operation to change components:
When a real of pars runs out on production process, we need to change parts.
We use serial control method to avoid installing wrong parts.
