Your trust is our survival. It is our slogan. This slogan gives us responsibility and mission. Low to middle and high mix products are the current trend in Taiwan. You want to grow steadily. Moreover, you want to become a supreme EMS provider. You have to have a unique service items and manufacturing capacity. PSI chose the automation in all respects. Automations include automatic operation, management and communication. I will introduce the details of all automations one by one.

Company wants to make money. It is import to reduce the labor cost in addition to creating new customers. How to reduce the labor cost? The main method is to move from manual operations to automatic operations.

• (1) Reports are sent to our customers automatically.
• For example, a customer inventory report, a shortage list, a receiving report, etc. These reports are sent to our customers on the requested dates by our customers.
• (2) New orders are imported into our ERP system automatically
  
• Some customers have a lot of orders at one time but the quantity of each order is less. If the order’s file format is Excel, we are able to import these orders to our ERP system at one time. We don’t have to key in these orders one by one.
• (3) Automatic arrangement of production schedules
• Regarding to SMT production schedules, there are four hundred of working orders every day. Therefore, we have difficulty on arranging the production schedules. The production time of every working order are calculated via MIS system when we need to arrange the production schedule again. We save a lot of time to adjust the production schedules.

• (1) Automatic management of the orders
• We are able to add the related information of the working orders to a excel file.( For example: to change shipping schedules, to release production notes, to update the production documents, to release label information, to release ECN, etc.) Then our sales imports this excel file to our ERP system. All departments are able to connect to the file of every working order via this kanban. Therefore, all departments read all production documents in this file. In addition , the automatic management promotes the paperless concept.
• (2) Automatic quality control
• Every production issue is recorded in the production history. We are able to review the previous production issues, when we produce the same product in the future. It is helpful to improve our production issues.

• (1) Real time system for production schedules
• Our customers have access to the production schedules of all working orders via the real time system at any time.
• (2) Automatic transfer of production documents
• Our customers put all production documents onto a buffer area. Then PSI system downloads the production documents from the buffer area. Finally, these production documents are imported into our system automatically.

For PSI, automation helps us to save a lot of labor cost. For our customers, our customers get all information at any time. In the future, we will still work on automatic operation.
