The year-end banquet is the mostly expected activity in the year for every employee. The grand evening banquet was held on 2016/1/28.

Although the year-end banquet was held in the weekday evening, everyone, however, dressed up to participate in the company big event. This made members of the welfare committee very excited.

A few new members joined the welfare committee this year. For some this was their first time to organize such a grand event. And fortunately we had great help from some masters of activity organization, makeing this year-end banquet go smoothly.

The entire event started after the general manager Gilbert’s speech. Tony, the first host, started with a climax - the lottery. We looked at the smiling faces of people who won the prizes. There were screams as well. And the end of first round came. After the end of the first round of the lottery, the host drew “lucky numbers bonuses”, which heated up the whole event again.

Fan and Guo, the second group hosts, led DIP foreign employees to perform a piece of foreign dance. The audience, watching the show by the side of the stage, screamed again and again. Our emotions were roused by the dance.

Edison and Mitty, the third group hosts, heated up the event again with hot dance by foreign employees from the testing/assembly/packaging department. After the dance Edison sang Vietnamese songs and surprised all the audience with screams. PSI has been looking after our foreign employees with care and we can see them getting big prizes especially from the year-end banquet.

Rae, the vice-chairman, Markush and Monica were the last hosts of the banquet. At the end of the event, you had to make efforts to get the bonus. To make each department have equal opportunity of getting rewards, every one stood on the stage to say aloud their department and name. He who drank the most sparkling water would win the prize.

Finally Gilbert drew the biggest prize. In fact, it didn’t matter who won the prize. Gathering at the annual event with joy was the most satisfying thing to see for the welfare committee. We will work hard together, for the better new year.
