The interaction mode between people has been changed by the progress of Network. Management ways of corporation have also been changed by Network. It still keeps going on with the progress of Network. If you keep pace with the new technologies, you will see two new trends these days. One is IoT, and the other is Big Data. They make life easier. Information flow has become faster and easier to access. The old business model was composed of manufacturers, Distributors, Dealers and then end-customers. And now they have become online shopping and global logistics. Shopping malls are not so popular and are replaced by virtual network stores gradually.

PSI is a product contract manufacturing company. It should follow the network technologies and think ahead to keep its competitive advantage. There are two popular topics during these years: Industrial 4.0 and Big Data in Cloud. I wrote an article, “The Progress of Corporate Management” in PSI’s Quarterly Press. It mentioned the application of Industrial 4.0. PSI’s management and IT teams have been working on the specs definition and program coding of flow automation since the beginning of 2016. We plan to finish the operating system of flow automation in 2017.

Automation has its advantage, but it should be well controlled and monitored. It always has some mistakes because of the immaturity of specification definition. If the user doesn’t figure out the mistakes, it will make cooperate operating system disorganized. Therefore, make sure both the manual and automation operations proceed in parallel during the beginning stage of every automation flow is a must to prevent future’s mix.

Some of people’s judgment can’t be processed by computer system. We named its a deviation of flow automation. I mentioned that the value of staff is to solve the deviations in my article called “The Progress of Corporate Management”. It means to solve the deviation that is not under the specs of flow automation by the brain of human beings. Because of low fertility, the population of employment is reducing. It’s more difficulty to recruit new members by cooperates. Every employee must do more jobs and have different skills during the low volume high mix times now. It’s a necessary way to do the regular jobs by computer system for the company in the future, instead of people. PSI expects to finish the flow automation in 2017. Then, we will try to use Artificial Intelligence to judge and solve the deviation problem, and use the learning capabilities of Artificial Intelligence to conduct some data analysis and improvement reports.

Using the tools from new innovations is a basic for a corporate to maintain its competitiveness. One is the automation of production tools. It’s the application of production robot. The other is flow automation of management system. It’s the upgrade of the software as I mentioned above. To survive under current competitive stage, all of the corporates should think ahead and keep going to thrive for a long time.
