1. Services StructureIt’s a competitive world. All of the organizations must illustrate
their value and adjust the direction to follow the change of the world
for long term survival. Pronology has its own long term, middle term
and short term services strategy to fit into the requirement of
customer flexible. Following is to describe the detail services of
Pronology. Wish everyone can know more about our services with this
article.
2. Basement of the services
ERP (Enterprise Resources Plan), MES (Manufacturing Execution System),
Safety stock management, Material shortage control, Auto production
scheduling system, Digital Signage system and EDI information transfer
system are some major management systems for an EMS company. Pronology
now uses Lancer ERP system to handle and operate all of the processes.
Extract the information to Excel files and communicate with vendors,
customers and internal teams by excel information. The media of
communication is email for first priority, then Skype, MSN, QQ and
telephone for urgent case.
To be the IFRS compliance company, Pronology is going to phase in the new ERP system named Neo system from Lancer Inc. After we phase in on Aug, we’ll build the MES, Auto production scheduling system and EDI information transfer system in Neo. We’ll finish all of the projects the end of year 2011.

3. Services in Design phase
- ID Design, Housing design, Mold made & Packing design
* To cooperate with contractors & suppliers for the design of enclosure and packing. Firstly, conceptual ideas of the product appearances will be discussed with customer, then, arrange conference call between the three parties by Skype with all open issue discussions. Pronology will be the project manager of the task. As soon as the drawing design finished, Engineer in Pronology will join the first sample built and review the design. Then send the sample and review reports to customer for final approval.
* When the final sample approved by customer, Pronology will finalize the golden sample and production notice to vendor for the standard of future production.
- Regulatory Apply
Pronology cooperate with the regulatory labs for FCC, CE, UL, TUV certifications. When customer needs Pronology’s service for regulatory test, we’ll talk to Lab and get the requirements of the test. Then, coordinate with customer for the required documents. Lab will do the quotation according to the information. As soon as customer agrees the quotation, Pronology will work with the Lab to schedule the test. Same as Enclosure process, Pronology will be the coordinator to setup the meeting and link all of the information by mail to solve all of the issues. Then, close the task by getting the certificate.
4. Services in Production Phase
- Production Planning: We have several options to get the orders from customer.
* Long lead time parts management: As customer needs, Pronology will
provide long lead time parts list to customer and monthly planning
order recommendation to customer by month. Customer confirms the
suggestion and Pronology will do the rolling purchasing for the long
lead time parts. If customer doesn’t build any of the products for 3
months, Pronology will sell the long lead time parts to customer.
Also, Pronology will do monthly history analysis and modify the
planning order by monthly base.
* Except above long lead time parts control, Pronology’s ordering system is a built to order system. As soon as we get the order from customer, we’ll setup our own BOM list at beginning. To build the working order at the same day or second day of BOM structured. Will build the quantity same as customer’s order.
* For the material, Customer can select either Full turnkey, partial turnkey or all consign business model. Pronology will do the different management for different model.
* For the built processes, customer has some different selections such as SMT only, SMT+DIP process, SMT+DIP+Test, SMT+DIP+Test+Burn-in, SMT +DIP+Test+Assembly or SMT+DIP+Test+Assembly+Packing. We’ll follow up the requirements to achieve the necessary documents and do the right management internally.
* Sales team do the daily updates for the material kitting day and delivery day, also communicate with Pronology internally and customers for all of the production issues by email system.
* Production control team does the schedule arrangement and adjusts by daily base to fit customer’s requirement.
* Except above long lead time parts control, Pronology’s ordering system is a built to order system. As soon as we get the order from customer, we’ll setup our own BOM list at beginning. -Material Purchasing and storage management:
* Run MRP every night automatically to ensure the material order will
be placed rapidly. Material controller reviews PR (Purchasing
requirement) every morning and passes the requirements to purchasing
team. Buyers does the purchasing orders release as soon as price &
lead time confirmed with vendor.
* Material shortage list of all working orders will be released every
day, too. Purchasing team will do some shortage controls as weekly
orders ETD confirmation, production on 3 days later orders ETD confirmation, production day material shortage control.
* Unique parts & Consign parts are controlled by ERP system. Customer
can request and get the information right away.

* First article Inspection system works very well.
* Fast line change and review system to ensure the low volume system worked profect.
* Control the quality according to the standard of IPC-A-610D Level II.
-Test/Assembly/Packing:
* Pronology has several burn-in options as normal temp. burn-in, 40-50 degree C and 60-85 degree C.
* Strong engineer team to handle various IT products.
5. Services in Logistics Phase
-International delivery:
* Can deliver the goods to end-customer directly by request.
* Can record the product bar code and do the tracking by request

-RMA Services:
* Provides one year warranty for full turnkey business.
6. Total Solution for manufacturing
To be a Guardian of low to middle volume production, we provide a
service as “Total solution for manufacturing”. When customer has any
product manufacturing problem or question, he can discuss with
Pronology to get the best solution. When customer needs to build the
product, he can ask us to help even it’s a proto type run.
