Since 2021, PSI has been thinking about the planning of customer real-time system. After the efforts of relevant departments, the system framework has been discussed and completed, including the confirmation & inquiry procedure of the product substitutes.
The purpose of the customer real-time system- Product Substitutes Confirmation & Inquiry Program is to optimize the current confirmation process of substitute materials, to grasp the confirmation of substitute materials in real time, and to remind the items automatically; And record the confirmation results of substitute materials, and improve the establishment of customer substitute database.
This program consists of three parts. Automatically generated the new product list; Engineering establish the corresponding product substitute materials list; And the customer queries and confirms the substitute materials
First, the program automatically checks and identifies new products. According to the work order, ERP system automatically sends the first time produce or trial-run production information to MIS Customer real time system, and the program automatically adds to the product list. It can be used for follow-up work of engineering personnel and follow-up to be handled. To realize automatic remind from the program, and avoid omission of manual work.
Second, the engineer starts the procedure of establishing alternative material list according to the list of product. Firstly, the customer BOM is imported into MIS system by using the program. Then, the program automatically associates and brings out the relevant information from our ERP system, including PSI P/N, PSI parts description, and the manufacturer and Mfr P/N of the part. The information of the substitute materials which confirmed before is directly brought out from the substitute database. Thirdly, the engineering personnel preliminarily check whether the substitute materials meet the customer's needs, check the material brand / type/ specification, etc., and improve the establishment of the information of the product alternative material list.
Third, the program will summarize the information of substitute materials and automatically send email to the customer for confirmation. Customer engineering can log in our MIS customer real-time system, to confirm and query the product substitute material details through this program.
