After the epidemic, PSI ushered in the post-epidemic recovery, manufacturing orders flocked in, and the space and manpower of the Taipei factory tended to be saturated, so we had to choose the best location and the most favorable way to deal with the huge waves of this era. After evaluation, as overseas Taiwanese businessmen have returned to their hometowns in large numbers recently, Chiayi County’s industrial zone has large land and low prices. With great development potential, it can be regarded as an important condition for Chiayi County to turn into an "agricultural and industrial county."Due to the well-established facilities in the adjacent area and the middle zone between the Central Science Park and the South Science Park, the Ministry of Economic Affairs is also planning to set up an industrial park in Chiayi. In addition, the land rights are pure, the transportation is convenient, and the hinterland is vast. More importantly, the general manager Gilbert is birth in Chiayi, who are close to the local people, are more likely to take advantage of the location. We decided to set up a new factory in Chiayi resolutely, so that PSI can use digital technology to innovate as soon as possible. The establishment of the Chiayi factory is a major event.From finding the factory site, signing the contract, applying for factory registration, floor layout diagrams of each building unit and building area calculation table, environmental assessment in accordance with environmental protection laws and regulations, water pollution prevention and control, air pollution prevention, waste cleaning and other categories, attaching various approval or permit certificates issued by the competent environmental protection authority, machine delivery, manufacturer customer contact, manpower recruitment, manufacturing process arrangement, material tracking, logistics delivery, dormitory arrangement, personnel education and training, and so on, it was established by the general manager leading all the supervisors and colleagues to work together. At present, it is more active in the industry-university cooperation program with WuFeng University of Science and Technology. It is expected to build a teaching practice cooperation platform closely with the school, carry forward the practical education spirit of "learning by doing", and cultivate young students' professional and technical capabilities.
