PSI is a professional EMS OEM factory, focus on a small number of diversified materials and production,thousands of models purchased.
In order to meet the production customer's shipment needs more on time, PSI’s IT department completed the establishment of a Supply Chain Management system (SCM). It is beneficial to improve PSI procurement to more accurately grasp the delivery status of each material manufacturer, more conducive to the material suppliers at any time to inquire the latest status required for delivery. Keep suppliers informed of the delivery schedule of PSI required in advance or after production.
The operation procedure of PSI SCM system is described as follows:
1. The system automatically sends all the details to be delivered by email to each manufacturer every Friday
2. Monday to Thursday to send three days of delivery details
3. After receiving the email, each manufacturer can choose one of the three ways to work (as illustrated in the following figure).
4. Login PSI SCM system reply (login website); The website is http://www.pronology.com.tw/
4.1 Select the account and password to log in, the account is PSI manufacturer number such as (P60018), password P60018_XX, click login to enter the following system screen.
5. Click on PSI Order Delivery Date - to select the general material delivery date to reply, the status of all orders not delivered details waiting for reply appears. The supplier needs to reply the new delivery date for each material item by item. If there are many material items, you can also select (export Excel report), fill in the new delivery date item by item in the report, then click -Excel Report to do batch import, after replying to the new delivery date, the status bar will display the returned status(as shown below).
6. After the supplier replies the material delivery date in the SCM system, PSI procurement personnel enter the MISplus system to confirm the relevant information, login to the website:
7. Click on the left sidebar Supply Chain Management System—Self-purchased material shortage management—Material delivery date—General material delivery maintenance, Enter the supplier's number, Make delivery confirmation item by item (as shown below)
8. PSI procurement staff will confirm item by item whether the delivery date replied by the supplier is OK? If the delivery time of OK is OK, select OK for confirmation, no OK choice to reply again. After confirming operation, the delivery date of OK will be updated to the ETA- Expected incoming date field in ERP (Purchase order maintenance operation cpmt540). If it is not OK, the system will automatically send an email to the manufacturer to confirm the delivery date, Repeat the above operations. Later than the arrival date and multiple orders without delivery will be shown in red,If the delivery date is OK, it is shown in black.
