At the end of last year, PSI defined its management by two systems. One was existing ERP system, the other was new MIS system. PSI MIS system consists of the EUMS which the NXN tech designed, starting from MES implement in the first step, accelerating and integrating the information stream in the future; therefore, in principle, all programs in addition to the ERP system functions are to be able to in the MIS system as the entrance.

To Develop the MIS System with NXN Technology Cooperation, introducing i-DAQ, data collector, to digitalize data system, and convergence ERP system, and enhance the flexibility of low volume/high mix order in order to assist the implement SFC system, and integration of production scheduling / E-Kanban system and production line information. It can unify operation of the entry program (ERP / SFC / Excel and customer data integration into one) to enhance the overall production performance and management of the manufacturing units.

After six months of efforts, the operational flow in the MIS system and program specifications have been gradually completed, and go to the programming phase. MES plays the role of a good transmitter to improve manufacturing in the process of the order release to product finish.

Present developments status is as follow:

2. integration of production technical information
3. integration of electronic Kanban scheduling system
4. new quality abnormity report
5. QA SIP IQC specification
6. quality resume
7. Automatic access of customers’ data files
8. Automatic Quotation program

In the future, we plan to finish related ERP field Amendments, the conversion of customer orders, demand for import of semi-finished material shortage simulation or engineering maintenance management, the critical parts batch management, and make programming technology transferring from NXN.

The integration of MIS system and ERP system is a symbol that PSI has a stronger competition in the international market especially for low volume/high mix operation mode.
