Pronology Services Inc. (PSI) is a Taiwanese-invested enterprise. Since 2006 the Employee Welfare Committee was established under the guidance of Gilbert Chen, the CEO of the company. A variety of welfare activities were held, such as the Spring Festival Gala Evening, incentive tours and sending employees gift boxes. All the fees are from the company benefit, rather than charging them from the employees. You can read more about the organization of the committee, the works of the committee, and the objectives of the committee in the following paragraphs. .
- The number of the members in the committee is decided by the number of the employees in the company. The committee consists of one chairman, one vice chairman and one secretary. The section managers (the deputy section manager included) and the supervisors (higher positions included) take turns being the chairman. The vice chairman is elected via the welfare committee members. The secretary will be selected from the HR department.
- Works of the Committee:According to the SOP of the welfare committee, there are four events are held each year. The four events are: Spring-party, incentive tours, Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and health examination. In order to ensure events go smoothly, one or two months before every event, the Welfare committee chairman calls a meeting, uniting the welfare committee members, and they plan each event together. It totally reflects the democracy and centralized system in Pronology Services (Shenzhen) Inc.
- Practical significance:Employee welfare is not only a significant part of the salary system, but also another way to provide employee compensation. It shows how the company concerns and looks after employees’ daily life. Moreover, it is another type of extra reward, which represents the indirect feedback for the labors.
