SMT is known as surface mount technology that is the combination of electronic components and PCB assembly process in the newest welding technology.  

The welding assembly method is known simply on the use of Screen Printer to print the solder paste in the PCB's pads, and then install the SMD components by Mount Placement Machine (such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors and integrated circuits (IC), etc.) on board, then go through the hot air reflow to melt solder paste for electronic components and PCB-PAD with complete assembly and welding technology.

PSI set up the first SMT line in 2000. In order to achieve the customer requests for low to middle volume and high mix production and PSI has been increasing the SMT line in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2013. Currently, we have set up five SMT lines for EMS services. The process items - Stencil tension check, Solder paste & red glue storage and temperature recovery area, Humility Sensitive material baking, IC Pre-programming, Re-packing material,  Materials preparation (materials specification check), Feeders onto the machine、Wrong parts prevention check 、Solder paste printing、Solder paste printing、Solder paste thickness check、 High-speed mounter、High-speed multi-functional mounter、Mid-station inspection、Reflow soldering、X-ray (non-visible solder pads) 、100% AOI inspection、100% QC visual inspection area、Repair the defect board from AOI and visual inspection、Stencil cleaning，Smooth output the semi- products during SMT process through the good combination of automatic equipments and professional technical people.
